Aphotic Tattoo Studio is located in the heart of Loughborough. We pride ourselves in our work offering both flash and custom designs.

Our aim is to give you the best way to express yourselves through art at a more personal level.

We offer consultations working closely together to create a design that shouts YOU!

GALLERY

We want to show more people that tattoos are no longer a rebellious statement, but a form of art.

So we combined the two. We have dedicated a wall for local talented artists to feature and sell their creations.

HOW DO I BOOK IN?

We want to give you the best possible service. So before you book in, we ask that you have a design and placement in mind.

Don't be shy. Send us as many images as you'd like. This will give us a better understanding of what you would like.

Due to copyright laws, we cannot copy a tattoo design that has already been done. That being said, we can alter it. After all, you wouldn't want someone else walking around with the same tattoo as you!

WHAT INKS DO WE USE?

We are not secretive of the inks we use. All our inks are of the highest quality, non - toxic and animal-cruelty free meaning they are Vegan Friendly!

(Don't worry, we don't discriminate 😉)

WHAT AFTERCARE WE USE?

We are currently using Elgato Negro Tattoo Balm during and after tattoo procedures.

These are available to buy in our studio so you never have to worry about where to get aftercare!

Here's what the makers of El Gato say!

"Hi I’m Sarah and I’m the maker of El Gato Negro. I created my balms a few years ago due to my allergies to other skincare products on the market at the time.
I used my botanical background to formulate a  plant based product with minimal processing so that the beneficial properties of each ingredient isn’t destroyed. There are no added stabilisers or preservatives, just ingredients that are good for your skin.
I started by making 50 small jars and giving them out as samples. I had such a great response from tattoo artists and their clients, that I was asked to make more.
Most people don’t realise this, but everything is made by my hand, in small batches so that your balm reaches you in the freshest state possible.
I believe that everyone should be able to have nice things so only the best possible organic ingredients, which are ethically sourced, are included in my products. 😊"
